Mingo Citywide Garage Sale

Saturday, May 2nd

8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Stop at the Mingo Community Center for a garage sale map or to purchase a snack or drink at the bake sale. We are also offering tables at the Community Center (1 table for $10 or 2 for $15) to use to hold a sale or sell your wares as a vendor (Pampered Chef, Avon, Tupperware, jewelry, whatever!)

Mingo Clean Up Day

Saturday, April 18
9:00am

Meet at the Community Center at 9:00am to help us do some spring cleaning! All ages welcome. We'll be picking up trash along the streets and creek. We'll also be painting "garbage" and "can" cans to use at Mingo Days! Bring rakes, work gloves and garbage bags if you can.

You can put your Spring Cleanup trash on the curb on Thursday, April 16th. Whatever Anderson doesn't pick up that morning, the City of Mingo will pick up on Saturday. There will also be a dumpster for metal at the co-op April 16th-18th. If you have any questions, contact Brittany at (515) 238-2457.

Mingo Fireman's Breakfast

Free-will donations, proceeds go toward a new fire truck and equipment.

Movie Night

We had a great time at Saturday's movie night! About 40 people settled in to watch "Milo and Otis" and "Madagascar II". Here are some pictures!

Family Movie Night!

Bring your sleeping bags and pillows to the Mingo Community Center on Saturday, March 21st at 6:00pm for a FREE movie night! We'll be playing "Milo and Otis" and "Madagascar 2" (subject to change), and will have popcorn and pop for sale. The library will also have children's books to check out!

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Snowflake Bash a Great Success!

We had a great turnout at the Snowflake Bash Winter Formal! About 50 people attended the dance, and it was a blast! We even had prom pictures taken by Chad Austin Design!
